Privacy policy
What we collect, why, who sees it, and how to get it back. This website sets no cookies and does not track you.
Last updated 2 September 2026.
This page explains what personal information Aden Integrated Services Ltd collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can get at it or have it corrected. It is written to be read, not to be skipped.
Who we are
Aden Integrated Services Ltd is a Calgary contractor providing asbestos abatement, mould remediation, interior demolition, and fire and water damage restoration. We are responsible for the personal information described here.
Privacy contact: info@adenintegratedservicesltd.com or (403) 477-2281.
This website does not track you
We think this is worth saying plainly, because almost no contractor website can. This site sets no cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no tag manager, no advertising pixel and no session tracking of any kind. You can read every page here without us collecting anything about you.
The only way this website collects personal information is if you type it into the contact form and press send.
If we ever add analytics or call tracking, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change before it goes live.
What we collect, and why
When you use the contact form: your name, phone number, email address, the service you selected, and whatever you write in the message box. We use it to answer you and to quote your job. Nothing else.
When you call or email us: your contact details and what we discuss, so we can follow up and keep an accurate record of what was agreed.
If you become a customer: the property address, details about the building and its condition, photographs of the work area and the work performed, laboratory results for any samples taken, and billing information. This is the job file. In this trade the job file is the proof the work was done properly, which is why we keep it and why we give you a copy.
We do not ask for, and do not want, information we do not need for the work. We never sell personal information to anyone, for any purpose.
Where your information is stored, and a note about the border
This website is hosted by Netlify, a service provider located in the United States. When you submit the contact form, the form is received and stored on Netlify's servers before it reaches us, which means that information is processed and stored outside Canada and is subject to the laws of the country it is stored in, including lawful access by authorities there.
We use other business software — email, accounting and document storage — some of which is also operated by providers outside Canada.
We are telling you this because you should know it before you decide what to type into a form. If you would rather not send personal information across the border, call us at (403) 477-2281 instead. A phone call works just as well and we will not think it strange.
If you want to know more about how we use service providers outside Canada, or the purposes they handle information for, contact us using the details above and we will tell you.
Who we share information with
We share only what is necessary, only with the following, and only for the purpose described:
- An accredited laboratory, when samples are submitted for analysis. The lab receives the sample and the site information it needs to report on it.
- Your insurer or their adjuster, where the work is part of an insurance claim and you have asked us to deal with them.
- Subcontractors and suppliers working on your job, limited to what they need to do their part of it.
- Our insurer, accountant or legal advisor, where a claim, an audit or a dispute requires it.
- Regulators, where the law requires it. Asbestos work carries mandatory obligations: a project notification to Alberta Occupational Health and Safety before work begins, and waste manifests and permits for disposal. These identify the work site. We cannot do this work without filing them, and we would not want to.
We do not share your information with anyone else without your consent, unless we are legally required to.
Emails from us
We send occasional emails to customers and to businesses we work with — service reminders, seasonal notices and information about what we do.
Every one of them has an unsubscribe link, and we act on it. You can also reply to any message and ask to be taken off the list, or email info@adenintegratedservicesltd.com. We will remove you promptly and we will not ask you why.
Unsubscribing from marketing email does not affect anything to do with your job. We will still contact you about work in progress, a quote you asked for, scheduling or an invoice.
How long we keep it
We keep customer records, including quotes, job files, laboratory results, disposal records and invoices, for seven years. That covers tax record requirements and the period in which a question about the work could reasonably come up. After that they are securely destroyed.
Enquiries that do not turn into work are kept for a much shorter period and then deleted.
Keeping it secure
Access to customer information is limited to people who need it to do the work. Accounts are password protected, devices are secured, and paper records are kept locked. No system is perfect, and anyone who tells you theirs is should not be trusted — but if we ever became aware of a breach affecting your information, we would tell you.
Your rights
Under Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act you can:
- ask what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy of it;
- ask us to correct anything that is wrong;
- ask how it has been used and who it has been given to;
- withdraw your consent, subject to legal and contractual limits — for example, we cannot unfile a notification we were legally required to make.
Email info@adenintegratedservicesltd.com or call (403) 477-2281 and we will respond. There is no charge for a reasonable request.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a privacy question, you can complain to the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta. You do not need our permission and you do not have to come to us first.
Advertising
We advertise on Google. If you arrived here by clicking one of our ads, Google collects information about that click under its own privacy policy, not ours. We see only aggregate reporting — how many people clicked, and which searches led them here. We are not given, and cannot see, the identity of anyone who clicks an ad.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page. If a change is significant — adding tracking to the website, for instance — we will say so here rather than quietly editing it.
Questions about any of this: info@adenintegratedservicesltd.com or (403) 477-2281.
