Area rugs
Quoted on size and fibre after we have seen it or you have sent a photo. Wool, silk and hand-knotted rugs are not the same job as a synthetic rug and should not be priced as if they are — the wrong method on a wool rug costs far more to put right than the clean was worth.
Already having something else done?
If we are at the property anyway — a move-out clean, a post-construction clean, a restoration job — carpet is $39 a room with no minimum, because the travel and setup are already paid for. Ask when you book rather than afterwards.
All prices exclude GST and are current as of October 2026. Final price is confirmed in a written quote before any work starts — we do not ask for a deposit and there is no charge for the quote.
If the job runs over
Alberta's consumer protection rules limit how far a final bill can go past a written estimate without your agreement, and we work to that. If a job looks like it is going to run past the quote, you hear it from us before it does — not afterwards — and we get your agreement in writing before carrying on. If you would rather we stopped at the quoted figure, we stop.
No surprise invoice, and nothing added at the end that you did not say yes to.
Outside Calgary
Calgary prices include travel. Beyond the city we add a travel charge, and because the drive has to be worth making there is a minimum job value:
| Area | Travel | Minimum job |
|---|---|---|
| Calgary | Included | — |
| Airdrie, Chestermere, Cochrane, Okotoks, Strathmore | $95 | $350 |
| High River, Crossfield, Carstairs, Didsbury | $150 | $500 |
| Olds, Drumheller | $250 | $750 |
| Canmore | $250 | $750 |
| Red Deer | $300 | $900 |
If a job outside Calgary comes in under the minimum, we will say so rather than quote it — you are better off with someone local, and we would rather tell you that than take the work and resent the drive.
What hot water extraction actually is
Hot water and solution are forced into the pile under pressure and pulled straight back out with the dirt. It is what most people mean by steam cleaning. It takes longer to dry than a bonnet or dry-powder clean — usually four to eight hours with the windows open — and it removes a great deal more. We will tell you if a carpet is past cleaning rather than take your money and hand back something you are still unhappy with.
Frequently asked questions
How long until I can walk on it?
You can walk on it in socks straight away. Furniture back after four to eight hours, longer in a cold or closed-up room.
Will the stains come out?
Some will and some will not. Pet urine, bleach and old dye stains are the usual ones that do not. We will say before we start which marks we expect to shift.
Do you move furniture?
We move what two people can move safely. Beds, sofas and tables yes; pianos, full bookcases and anything glass-fronted we work around.
Do you do commercial carpets?
Yes — offices, rental turnovers and common areas. Quoted by area rather than by room.
